The Wildling Art Museum is an educational institution dedicated to presenting the art of America's wilderness so participants of all ages gain a greater appreciation of the art and a better understanding of the importance of preserving our natural heritage.

The Wildling Art Museum offers many educational opportunities for visitors of all ages.

Within the Museum, visitors can enjoy the daily activity located in the Barbara Goodall Education Center, tour the Museum with a knowledgeable docent, or study in the Research Library.

Children are encouraged to participate in the exhibition-specific Fox Hunt. This fun activity encourages exploration and discovery by asking open-ended questions designed to spark dialogue about the current exhibition. After completing the activity sheet, children can present it to the front desk and receive a token card or postcard of their visit.

In addition to the daily programs at the Wildling, the Museum offers a variety of multi-generational classes, such as our spring Art Camp and summer Building a Painting workshop.

For adult and mature children, the Wildling offers a Free Friday Flick the first Friday of each month. Thse are notable films which are art of wilderness related. In addition, the Museum offers lectures throughout the year on a wide range of topics.
